Mr. Ortiguera is admitted to the New York State Bar, US District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and is authorized to practice U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law throughout the United States. Mr. Ortiguera graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University and obtained his Master of Laws degree from Fordham University in New York. Mr. Ortiguera emigrated from the Philippines in 2000 after practicing law there for 6 years. As an immigrant, Mr. Ortiguera experienced the difficulties faced by immigrants and brings that understanding to his work with clients.
Nelson Belen has over 20 years experience in Law and Corporate Management. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 2008. He was an Associate Attorney at Leahey & Johnson, PC where he worked as a litigation attorney. He was the Managing Editor and Senior Contributing Writer at The Rio Times. He headed NB Legal, a legal consulting company advising clients in legal matters including Immigration, Business & Commercial Law, Privacy & Security Law. Mr. Belen is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
